Lakeland VW Show & Swap Classic Lakeland, Florida

We have a great opportunity to have a VW car show in Lakeland.  

The show is set for Sunday, March 18, 2007  9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Location:

  This Event will be in Memory of Diogi a Polk County Sheriff's Deputy

On Sunday March 18, 2007  we are looking forward to a day of fun and excitement. Admission price is $3.00 at  gate and, Kids under 16 are Free.   $2.00 for Parking.  There will be over 45 classes judged to win a Trophy.  Every car that is entered will get 2 coupons for FREE BEER, 1 FREE T-SHIRT, and a GOODY BAG.

Gates open for Venders and Show Car  at 6:30 am. To the public at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Pre-registration will end  March 3, 2007. We would like to invite All Hot Rods, Antique Cars and Motorcycles to our Event. They will have a Special Parking area so they can also Show their cars but they will not be entered into any class. Sorry, No Alcohol, Pets, 4-Wheelers, Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards, Golf carts.

 We have a FREE KID ZONE to make this Event a Family Show, We have a Space Walk, Rock Climb and Side, Stilt Walkers and Balloon Artist. The ThunderBolts Indoor Football Team, Mad Science Program, Adopt a Greyhound Girl Scout Cookies, The Geek Squad from Best Buy, our DJ Starvin Darvin along with live Music. There will be over $1500.00 in Door Prizes catalogs, stickers, T-Shirts from our Sponsors and a lot more!

We will have great foods from Buddy's BBQ, BedRock Cafe & Grill, and West Shore Pizza.We have several Fundraisers that will be going on all day. For example we are Blowing a VW Engine and selling each second that it runs for a $1.00 per second. The WINNER Will WIN A PRIZE. We will also have a 50-50.

We will have Coffee and donuts in the morning for all the early birds.  Any Donation to the Fund would be greatly appreciated.I would like to Thank All Our Sponsors for everything they have donated to make this the best  possible event.

There is a spot to sell your car. The cost for this is $15. There will be an area for selling parts.  For PRE-REGISTRATION it will be $100.00 for new parts vendors, $20.00 for used parts vendors. It will cost more on the day of the show so please pre-register.
